Summary:

Prepare detailed drawings for permit requirements and erection of steel buildings.

Must reside in or around Englewood, CO - NOT A REMOTE POSITION

Essential Functions:

1. Prepare permit drawings which are used to assist customers in acquiring building permits. These will include anchor bolt plans, details and reactions.
2. Assist detailers in preparing final erection drawings which are used to guide the steel erector in the field. These will include dimensional plans to locate steel members and connection details.
3. Assist detailers in producing shop drawings for use in member assembly.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

-Must possess drafting experience with 2D CAD and knowledge of 3D CAD preferred.

-Have a good understanding of geometry and trigonometry.

-Have a basic understanding of general fabrication and engineering principles.

-Possess logic and analytical abilities with excellent computer skills in Auto-CAD and Microsoft Office.

-Must also be very detail oriented and organized.

Associated degree or certificate of Auto-CAD with six months to one year experience in the drafting field required.
